Your life has taken one of life’s more unwelcome turns and here you are, you have come to work with Alison and her team because you know there are choices, that you have options and you are willing to do the work. That takes immense strength. You have immense strength and the wisdom to know that having a team to support you is better than going it alone. My job on your team is to support you emotionally, mentally and help you with the logistics of making real and lasting change.
Cancer Resiliency Coaching is a supportive partnership centered around you. Our sessions will be spent addressing your main concerns, whether they are managing anxiety, figuring out meal preparation, or tapping into your motivation so you can stay on track.
I am trained as a Functional Health Coach. This means I have been trained in the principles of Functional Medicine and Health Coaching. According to the IFM, “Functional Medicine determines how and why illness occurs and restores health by addressing the root causes of disease for each individual.” Health coaching aims to create lasting emotional and behavioral change.
To support you with emotional and mental wellbeing I have further training in Positive Psychology and Motivational Interviewing. And of course, I have trained with Alison so that I am aware of the changes you are making to support your health!
